DoD News Article Update - 22 May 2013
National Guard forming into the Marines
22 May 2013
As the Department of Defense has had a National Guard branch since the old days of Halo: Reach, it is now time to say goodbye. Not completely though. The DoD National Guard will be formed into the new DoD Marines. The Marines will combine old National Guard responsibilities with new more advanced ground tactics. There is currently no Marine candidate for leader, and that is the main reason the Marines have not been officially deployed for service. Once a Marine leader has been chosen, the Marines branch will officially open. The Marines will have new armor colors, not the old blue and white National Guard colors. The new colors will be khaki and steel, and khaki and white. More news to come on the Marines when a leader is chosen.

DoD Training22 May 2013
Over the past month, DoD has focused on training for raids. Many of these training sessions have yielded more than expected results. DoD soldiers are increasing in skill, smarts, and battle tactics. These trainings are going extremely well and the officers would like to thank the members that have put in the hard work to get better. DoD members, we will keep training for these situations so that when the time comes, we will be prepared for it. |
