Department of Defense Army Structure
The Department of Defense Army contains a set of companies, platoons, and squads. Each company has 2 platoons, and each platoon has 3 squads. Each squad has 5-10 members, each platoon has 15-30 members, and each company has 30-60 members. Minimum rank for Company leader is 2nd Lieutenant (2LT), minimum rank for platoon leader is Sergeant First Class (SFC), and minimum rank for squad leader is Sergeant (SGT). All platoons and squads are balanced, as so no one may claim that one platoon or squad is better than the other. Being active in your squad is going to get you noticed and possibly ranked up. Squads participate in many fun trainings, drills, and mini games. In order to keep operations running smooth, please obey your superior officer. Thank you.
