Monthly Update - 31 March 2013
This month has been a very tough month for members of DoD. DoD has been very occupied with an insurrectionist clan also called "Dept. of Defense" led by DOD SocomKilla. Attempts to make peace proved to be a failure, and the insurrectionists responded by attacking DoD multiple times. Over the course of this month, DoD has had over 25 raids and battles with the insurrectionists, and we have won every single one of them. The "Dept. of Defense" has attacked DoD with help from RussianCarrot and the USSR. Both of these clans spawn killed DoD members on theor maps, when they agreed not to do so. DoD has won every single raid due to either being kicked from games, the insurrectionists ending the game, or DoD members reaching the score limit. Also this month, founder and former leader of DoD, SOCOM 3rd Group, has returned and regained his position as leader of DoD. This change was brought about by the member of DoD, and thought to have a positive impact on the future of DoD. Along with this change, many high ranking members have left DoD. Among this list are the members that are no longer with us:
- lSAMOANl
- Floozys
- Foose Dermernds
- LHG PANDA
- KillSteelTex
- Mxrtyrr
These members will be missed, but this will not slow down the progression of DoD. We are strong, and will continue to grow and become the powerful clan we once were, and we will be again.

Monthly Update - 28 February 2013
The month of February has gone very well, as expected. This month was full of excitement, as DoD has won its very first war. The former ally of DoD, the United Imperial Republic (UIR), attacked DoD and assassinated our leader, lSAMOANl. DoD responded by declaring war against UIR. Many battles were fought, and ultimately, DoD won when UIR lost 3 out of the 4 battles against us and ended their clan to form the United Imperial Spartans (UIS). DoD has also secured an alliance with our old enemy, now a close ally, Central Command (CENTCOM). DoD has also allied with the United Atomos Carsvato Federation (UCAF). These alliances should prove to be very useful in the future. DoD is currently at a stable condition, and contnuing to brong in recruits to our clan.
Monthly Update - 31 January 2013
After the first month of DoD restarting, DoD is doing very well. All of our goals for this month have been reached, and we are very excited about that. Among these accomplishments are the following:
- Recruiting over 40 members
- Winning the first clan battles of Halo 4
- Securing alliances with UNR and UHR
- Putting up a Recruitment video on YouTube
- Transition to Halo 4 goin very smoothly
We are very appreciative to the members that made this possible. Our Boto Camps trainings are going as planned, and we expect to keep up with this pace in the months to come.

Monthly Update - 31 December 2012
The Department of Defense clan Officially has opened on Decemver 31st, 2012. This is the first time DoD will start without former leader and origional founder, SOCOM 3rd Group. Some old members are glad to see this change, but most will miss this great leader for all he has done. DoD will be lead by former second-in-command to SOCOM 3rd Group, lSAMOANl. Samoan has served DoD for many months and is now ready to take on the challenges faced by this great new clan. Along with lSAMOANl, returning leaders Syndrome I and x Inztinct, DoD is expected to become a very string clan. Media is preparing for recruitement and members are ready to begin a new era of DoD.
Update - 22 December 2012
Today, DoD members successfully infiltrated the Legions of Halo (LOH) clan, and raided them. This covert operation had been put into plan for several weeks, and was executed perfectly. DoD members lSAMOANl, Syndrome I, and x Inztinct, joined LOH and became a part of the Spartan II program easily. They waited for the perfect opportnity to attack LOH, and that opportunity came when a member of DoD's ally UIR, oI DannyBoy Io, was sentenced to be executed on account of espionage against LOH. Members lSAMOANl and Syndrome I waited patiently in an LOH game, until oI DannyBoy Io joined. Moments before DannyBoy was executed, SAMOAN and Syndrome opened fire on LOH members, killing all members in the base and near DannyBoy. The 2 DoD members held off 7 LOH mambers for over 5 minutes, until reinforcements could be called in. DoD members pepemdc and Floozys joined to help the 2 other DoD members. DannyBoy then invited UIR members to the game to aid him and DoD. After a couple minutes of complete domination by DoD and UIR, LOH kicked all UIR members and then gained access to the base. DoD members were spawn killed and then eventually kicked by LOH. This raid is declared a victory for both UIR and DoD. This event came to be known as the "Spark of DoD", as it was the first action DoD took as the new clan against another clan. These DoD members that fought in the raid, have been honored for their valiant fight, and efforts. The Department of Defense clan has officially allied with UIR (United Imperial Republic), and no further action has been taken against LOH.
Update - 18 December 2012
Members of the former Department of Defense clan have met and made a decision to restart DoD. This decision was made after several hours of discussion. DoD is currently rebuilding and the media (YouTube, Website, etc.) is being set up for coming events. Maps are being forged, old members are being recruited, and DoD is preparing for launch date. The current launch date for DoD is set for 31 December 2012. This is a big transition for DoD, since the last time DoD was active was back on Halo: Reach. The new DoD is currently stationed on Halo 4, and members are exploring and discovering all the new parts and style of Halo 4. DoD members are excited for the rebuild, and are very much looking forward for the re-entering of DoD into the Halo Community.
